The default boot source for the congatec i.MX 8X family products is SD card

In order to place the rootfs into the eMMC, the scard image could be copy into a USB stick. Start and login into the system, with the USB plugged into

$ cd /run/media/sda1
$ dd if=22.02.2019_fsl-image-qt5-imx8qxp-cgt-qx8x.sdcard of=/dev/mmcblk0 status=progress
$ sync
$ poweroff

conga-SMX8-X

Change the switches on conga-SEVAL

SW17 = [1] off / [2] on
SW18 = [1] off / [2] off

conga-QMX8-X

Check with R&D

Boot the system again, and stop the bootloader autoboot
